Photographs, for any purpose, essentially photojournalism for the paper I am writing gives a tone to the audience. It shows the colors, the mood, the whether, the people, the relation of the people with the photographer. It gives a tangibility to the story we are reading about.
The expressions on the face of the people, the details of contours, geographical or otherwise, the compatibility of the subject with the modernisation of the camera allows the story of an unknown world fall in place with the writing provided.
